A little boy who wanted his family attention but everybody was busy, he learn the concept of time( a minute) because his family use that sentence, when time came for him to take the dog out he used that sentence, he was busy with his book. he took so long the dog pee inside and his family got to explain what a minute means.

This is a short math book. The little boy constantly hears the expression "just a minute" and doesn't really understand how long a minute really is because he hears it as a form of expression. At the end his family explains it to him.

Fred gets the idea that a minute is a long time, so he says “Just a minute” to his brothers when he’s supposed to walk the dog, and takes equally long.
