Confussing mess. Really hard to follow what was going on ( )

I love, love, love dragon stories and this one is awesome! This book was nonstop action from the very beginning. The chemistry between Rysa and Ladon is incredibly intense. Rysa is a lovable main character, even when she had no idea what was going on, she told Gavin to run and she then took on the Burners on her own, not knowing if someone would come to her aid. This is a fantastic first book in the series, and I can't wait to read the next one. ( )

I really enjoyed reading this book. I've not a read a book that is strictly about The Fates. The way the author portrayed how Fates come to be is fascinating. Rysa is truly unlikely character which is why it worked so well in this book. Ladon in his unwavering belief held Rysa together through out the whole book. I will definitely look for more of this author's work. I can't wait for the next book in the series. ( )
