( ) In Book 6, Stark/Sandman Slim is trying to prevent the Angra Om Ya (Old Gods) from entering this realm and destroying Earth. In addition, there is a serial killer loose, who is slaughtering and dismembering those remaining in L.A. Stark is recruited by the Fed's Golden Vigil team to track down the killer. Meanwhile, girlfriend Candy is reverting to her Jade nature because her treatments do not seem effective. Lots of malevolence and violence, as always. Stark is as snarky and offensive as ever: the pin-up boy for anti-heroes. Yet, as always, he is doing his best for mankind and the world he lives in, including teaming with a crazy dead monk to solve the mystery of the powerful Qomrama. I liked this one much better than the last few because Stark has obtained some balance and happiness in his life, and the plot made sense to me. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

But that's the least of James Stark/Sandman Slim's worries. For the old gods, the Angra Om Ya, are poised to invade. LA is descending into chaos. And the Wildfire Ripper is stalking the city. No ordinary killer, he takes Stark deep into a conspiracy that stretches from Earth, to Heaven and Hell. The Ripper might be only person alive who knows how to save the world, but he's also Stark's worst enemy, the only man in existence Stark would happily kill twice"-- No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
