I've been blogging for years but just started a new blog and eventually want to monetize it, so that's why I bought this book. I found myself taking furious notes while reading - there are so many good tips! And even the obvious ones - like "write awesome content" - are helpful. I had been thinking of doing a few different things on my blog and realized one of them wasn't awesome and I wasn't passionate about it, so I nixed it in order to have more time to focus on making my other content awesome. Sometimes you just need to hear it from someone who's been there!

Some of the lower-star reviews complain that you can find the information in this book elsewhere and that there's nothing new - but why would I want to scour the web and read a bunch of different stuff from various (potentially unreliable) sources when I've got it all here in one convenient book? I especially appreciated all the examples - it really helps visualize the tips and put them into action.

Overall I found the book very useful and have a long list of stuff to start chipping away at to improve my blog and start making money! ( )
