I don't know exactly what the issue was. The writing is good, the characters are believable, and the story line is engaging, but I kept finding myself not completely lost in the story. Maybe I was just having one of my off days. I recommend this book for any adult reader that likes a good thriller or murder mystery. This contains graphic scenes of violence as well as many graphic sex scenes. Disclaimer: I received a free copy for review. Regardless, all opinions are my own and were in no way influenced. It was hard to keep up with who were the good guys and who the bad since the lines seemed to blur. An intriguing novel about terrorists both from the US and from the Middle East and how a hospital administrator and plastic surgeon, once long time friends turn into bitter enemies. Be careful how you treat people-it may come back to haunt you. I'm really not sure how Orchids come into play but there is a lot of information about them at the beginning of each chapter. The plastic surgeon grows them in his surgical suite. The title of the book is easier to understand. A Not for Profit Hospital is being sold out--to become a Profit Hospital which would essentially deny services to those most needing them.
