Currently in casa oct 4th When Grandma starts to nod off at the museum, Katie wanders off to look at pictures on her own. Seeing the beautiful sky in Vincent van Gogh's Starry Night, Katie wishes she could bring a star back to show to Grandma. Katie climbs into the picture to do so, but she unleashes a whole series of wild and fun events when she does! Based on the books I've read so far, I've really enjoyed the Katie series by James Mayhew, and this title is no exception. While all the books have an element of fantasy in them given that Katie can walk into paintings and the paintings then "come alive" so to speak, this book has an extra air of the magical, which I absolutely love. I've shared this book with my toddler class and my preschool-age niece, and both were entirely captivated by the story. This is definitely another great addition in the series and a wonderful book for helping to introduce young readers (and young listeners) to works of fine art. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
