This was a fast paced, suspenseful novel. It completely threw me for a loop and surpassed my expectations. Amy Shojai is a talented writer, I’d never have thought a book where two of the main characters were animals would make such an extraordinary novel but it does! September Day’s character development was steady throughout the novel, you could really grasp where she’s coming from. All in all a fantastic book, I’m so thrilled to have had the opportunity to read it. This will be another one of my favorite novels for 2012! I just had to read this from the publisher's information. This is very good, I couldn't put it down and I refused to cheat and skip to the ending. Highly recommended. FROM AMAZON: A young woman races a Texas blizzard to save her autistic nephew from a deadly secret others will kill to protect... Animal behaviorist September Day protects her broken heart by keeping everyone at arm’s length. Still distraught over her husband’s death in the line of duty, she heads back to her Texas home to launch a dog-training business. But her grief takes a back seat when her autistic nephew goes missing in a freak blizzard. Partnering with the boy’s support pup Shadow, September uncovers a shocking conspiracy hiding a deadly “miracle drug.” Hounded by vengeful enemies, human and dog must learn to work together and sniff out the source of corruption before more vulnerable kids die. Can September and Shadow forge a bond and stop a ruthless conspiracy and relentless killer? HOLY COW!! Lost and Found fascinated me from the start, and I sure did love Shadow!! The plot just flowed at the right boiling point and I was elated when September FINALLY held her ground to fight! She had fled home to Texas from a stalker who lost everything, her husband and her dog, but she trades one problem for another when he nephew and his service dog disappear in a Texas SNOW BLIZZARD! I CAN HARDLY WAIT TO READ THE NEXT!! sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

The book was probably a bit longer than it needed to be so the story felt stretched at times but overall this is worth a read and worthy of 3 stars ( )
