I love this book and it is always a favorite at storytime! The surprise ending is so refreshing and the children always find it funny. They really love to help with the reading by warning out "That is not a good idea!" when it comes up in the book. Overall this book is a lot of fun and very interactive. ( )

A fox is lurring a duck into what looks like a not good idea. While the chicks are trying to warn the duck the duck will not listen. Then in a plot twist ending the duck tricks the fox and pushes him into the soup they were making. This is a good book for the classroom especially if you want the class to read along because it is simple to remember and silly. ( )

Mo Willems can do no wrong. This one is geared toward a little bit older kid--they need to know enough about how stories usually work to understand the "surprise" ending. ( )
