This book gives a variety of examples to students on how they can see and use sound in their everyday lives. The book explains how sound is all around us and how it affects our lives. There are pictures that visually show the different elements of sound so students can fully understand where sound comes from. The book provides real life examples of people using sound so students can see how it is used in a daily life occurrence. There are so many components of sound that the book talks about which makes the book interesting for students. It also provides information about how to make different objects that produce sound which students can make and see how the sound is created from that object. It is very hands on allowing them to have a clear understanding. ( ) Genre: Informational Summary: This book shares about sound. It brings the science of sound to readers in an understandable way. It shares about sound waves, sound barriers, sound energy, ultrasound, and various ways we hear and experience sound (especially through musical instruments.) Review: I like this book! I think parts of it could be read aloud and then other parts could be read individually. I like how many examples are used, allowing many ways different readers can connect to the content.
