"Jess knew that leaving the city was the right thing to do and it would give her a chance to escape the bullying without having to fight it, but she had no idea just how different life in Titterstone would be. Her new home would not only give her new hope, but it would also give her close encounters with pirates, ghosts, surfing big waves and beach adventures. A feel good page turner for the whole family that will get everyone running straight for the nearest beach desperate to learn to surf."-- No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |

Sarah touches on bullying which is a huge issue among children and teens unfortunately. But she does it in a way that is informative but not overdone and violent.
Something I REALLY did enjoy in her book is the interaction of the family members. In our society there is so much disrespect between teens and parents. Sarah did not portray the family like this however. Siblings got along and enjoyed each others company. There was respect between the parents to and from the children. It made the story enjoyable.
The content of the book was clean. There is no sex or violence. I did find one swear word which surprised me as her book is SO clean in its language.
I did enjoy this book and look forward to more in this series. I will definitely let my older children read this book. ( )
