The book begins with a brother and sister named Jack and Annie that time travel to China and end up in a panda reserve. Throughout the book an earthquake hits, and Jack and Annie begin helping people, even though they have their own mission to complete! Personally, I am not a fan of fantasy books. However, I think this would really intrigue younger students and encourage their thinking to go beyond the surface! It really hits every angle of fun, informative, mysterious, and adventurous! I enjoyed reading! ( ) I love pandas so this book was appealing. This book starts off with a brother and sister traveling through time (apparently they can do that from Merlin missions, something happened earlier in this series) and they end up in China and learn and get to hangout with pandas. This book also describes the effects of earthquakes and helping others, even if you don't know them. This book is probably really appealing to 1st and 2nd graders since it has magic, adventure, friendship, and vocab that they can grasp and still enjoy reading. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
