![]() Ninguno Actualmente no hay Conversaciones sobre este libro. ![]() This is an excellent website with a multitude of recommendations for children's books. There are fiction, non-fiction, picture, chapter, etc. You may view the recommended book by day or search by date, age group, subject, type of book, or author/illustrator. Recommendations are made by Anita Silvey, editor for Horn book review and publisher for Houghton Mifflin. Contains daily essays on children's book recommendations for toddlers through teens alongside events and activities for every day of the year. Seems like a really fantastic resource to follow, especially as someone who constantly needs ideas for storytime. The site is easy to use either casually or to create booklists with the search feature that allows the user to pull up books by author, age, subject, or type of book. The Children’s Book-a-Day Almanac blog is run by Anita Silvey. Every day she features a review of a children’s book. The reviews covers the book’s plot, intended audience, strengths and weaknesses, her opinions, and sometimes the backstory behind the book. Each book is also given a few tags to aid in classifying the book. The books selected range from books for toddlers to books for teenagers. The blog also covers daily events and trivia related to kid’s books. All the review posts can be accessed by searching by age group, date featured, subject, type of book, and author/illustrator. The blog is a good place to get book recommendations whether you are a parent, teacher, or librarian. However, not every day’s post is new so some reviews are older and may be out of date. The reviews go as far back as October 2010. Many of the books are classics so it is still a useful resource despite that flaw. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
