It's nice to take a break for supernatural reads and just good old-fashioned real-life based books (not that I'm saying vampires, ghosts, and who-knows-what don't exist.. I mean, you never know right?) I thought at first that this book would just be predictable and that I'd probably get bored of it and ed up leaving it in my currently-reading shelf like I do most boring books.. But NO! This book surprised me and the story took turns that I wouldn't have guessed in a million years, it was amazing! Check out my review and two teasers here: http://frommetoyouvideophoto.blogspot.com/2012/03/feasted-on-shooting-stars-by-a... I was curious about this book, and i'm glad I had a chance to read it. I didn't have a very high opinion of paparazzi. What I liked about this book was that it was well written and read as very honest. Jennifer was just doing a job, getting celebrity pics. She wasn't obnoxious or rude to the celebrities. Like she mentioned, most like having their pictures shown, because it keeps them in the spotlight. There are many fun stories about different celebs, but all told with sensitivity and without sensationalism. I found the book very interesting and it changed my mind about the paps. Everyone agrees that the paparazzi are the scourge of the earth. They're low. They're despicable. They'll do anything for that perfect shot. And yet...how long couldyou go without yourUs Weekly fix? Meet Josephine Foster, or 'Zo Jo as she's called in the biz. The best pint-sized photographer of them all, Jo knows that the public-and the stars-have a symbiotic relationship with the paparazzi. She doesn't mind doing what it takes to get that perfect shot, until she's sent on a major undercover assignment to shoot Ned Hartnett-teen superstar and the only celebrity who's ever been kind to her-at an exclusive rehabilitation retreat. The money will be enough to pay for Jo's dream: fine portrait photography classes, and maybe even quitting her 'zo gig for good. Everyone at the retreat wants to know: what Ned's in for? But Jo certainly doesn't know whatshe's in for: falling in love with Ned was never supposed to be part of her assignment . . . No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
