The back and forth struggle between Lawe and his mate and their need to remain themselves in spite of the mating was entertaining, frustrating and kept me involved in the story throughout. I'm very curious who Rule's mate is he keeps referring to! Also, I want to see what Honor and the others know about how to help Amber. a little repetitive on some things but a very good overall story - i like the current plot, adds alot to the intensity of the story.....now wouldn't it be interesting if Gideon mated and became a mellow man/breed no longer on a mission for vengeance. He seems to have great skills that the breed community could use
I loved this book!!!! I read this book first before I read any other in the series and got addicted. I love to read books like this. It keeps you captivated and intrigued. I would recommend reading the entire series. Love this book!!!
Diane Broen lived to protect her younger sister, Rachel from harm. But after Rachel was mated, Diane occupied herself with less fulfilling tasks for the Bureau of Breed Affairs. And now she is paired with a new team member, Lawe Justice, a Breed male notorious for his attitude -- and whose touch reaches past her nightmares to reveal a hunger she never anticipated. Lawe isn't thrilled with her either. A Lion at heart, he prefers a lair of solitude. When it comes to females, he'd rather snarl than purr once the pleasure is done. And though fate may have paired them to fight on the same team, neither is willing to admit the obvious : the mating heat between them is positively incinerating.
