Jacqueline Carey was born in 1964 in Highland Park, Illinois. After receiving B.A. degrees in psychology and English literature from Lake Forest College, she spent six months working in a bookstore in London. Upon returning to the U.S., she began her writing career while working at a local college. mostrar más Her debut novel, Kushiel's Dart, was published in 2001 and won the 2002 Locus Award for Best First Novel. I guess I'm on a re-reading kick--nothing new is appealing to me right now. Thank goodness, there are books like this one to keep me busy during the wait!
Oh this book had me feeling all the feels! I am so in love with this world and I feel this book was an excellent end to Phedre's narration. This has been one of the best book series I have ever read - I can't believe I am just coming to discover the treasure that is Jacqueline Carey
I enjoyed this so much because I love the world of Tere d'Ange and Kushiel's Dart is one of my favorite books of all time. I don't think Cassiel's Servant is a necessary read but it can enhance your understanding and/or enjoyment of the first three books in the Kushiel's series.
I loved the final installment of Imriel's trilogy! I wish I could stay with these characters forever - however I know all good things must come to an end. *sigh
